TonTon® was founded by renowned Japanese chef Yoshi Shioda and his wife Toshiko. Every TonTon® sauce is a Shioda family recipe that took decades of trial and error to perfect. Each is hand-crafted with the world’s finest and freshest ingredients. When Yoshi and Toshiko retired and moved to Japan, they left the company in the capable hands of their daughter, Mayumi, who continued to grow the brand. In 2021, we purchased TonTon® from her with the promise that we’ll always honor the Yoshida legacy by maintaining the family’s exceptionally high standards.
